Preparation: Hydrate package contents with system water prior to introducing into system, in a 10:1 ratio of water (mL) to Invigor8 Reef (g). If a thinner consistency is desired, then use more water. Cap container securely and shake until particles appear to be saturated with water, 30 - 60 s. Refrigerate suspension if keeping longer than 12 hours. Discard enclosed desiccant packet when contents of container are entirely used. Prior to each use, shake container to re-suspend components.
Recommended: Apply 0.20 g Invigor8 Reef per day per square foot of area colonized by cnidarians, poriferans, sedentarians, bivalvians, ascidians, and other suspension-feeding invertebrates. Modify application frequency and mass per cohort requirements. Frequent application of small volumes of the suspension yields superior results to lower-frequency, higher volume application. Recommended is application once or twice daily, or set up with a doser to drip into the system over a period of hours.
Broadcast application: Dispense desired volume of suspension into a pump intake.
Target application: Dispense suspension directly upcurrent from target specimen(s) with plastic syringe or bulb pipette. If using refrigerated suspension for target application, then it is recommended to float the capped vessel in the system for 30 minutes prior to use, enabling suspension to reach system water temperature.
